The B-Line Merano Lounge Chair a is part of the award-winning Merano collection designed by Raffaella Mangiarotti and Ilkka Suppanen in 2017.

The collection is aesthetically light and elegant. Slim steel lines surround the cushions, giving them form.

The Merano pieces also have a modular design. The steel frame around the chair can be easily detached, and the cushions removed, to form the Merano stool.

The foot stool can be purchased separately

The material composition allows to use this chair both indoors or outdoors, or even alternating between.

The result is a characteristic dynamic collection. The pieces transform in a manner akin to how they look: light and effortless.

Design and production are the two fundamental elements behind any piece of contemporary furniture; the most renowned pieces came to be through excellence in both.

B-Line was founded in 1999 by Giorgio Bordin with the goal of reproducing exceptional and iconic designs that were lost over time. Original moulds were recovered, re-proposed and sometimes revised in contemporary styles. Conservative in any alterations made, the intended result was a revival of original artistry which draws attention today in the same manner as during its inception. The admiration and respect given to the design in reproducing those pieces have, since then, led to B-Line collaborating with many international designers, producing award-winning contemporary furniture. The Merano Collection is the result of one such collaboration.

To produce an excellent design, quality and sustainability take precedence. Local materials of verified origin are used in B-Line’s production, which takes place entirely in Italy. This is done to allow B-Line to employ craftsmanship of the highest quality and to aid the company’s strive towards becoming totally "Zero-Mile”, minimising its environmental impact.

Standard delivery: Our standard delivery is by courier from Monday to Friday and it includes small items like home accessories, lighting and small furniture. If these items are in stock, they are dispatched the next working day by next day delivery service.

Furniture delivery:Larger furniture is delivered by our small shipping partners using one or two men when required. The drivers will phone you in advance to arrange delivery time with you.
