By Lassen My Own Chair | Leather

Designed by Flemming Lassen, the By Lassen My Own Chair in Leather is an iconic piece of furniture that was created in 1938 as one single edition.

First, the then controversial, forward-looking armchair was exhibited at The Copenhagen Cabinetmakers’ Guild Competition and later it became the favourite chair in the Lassen family home – hence its name.

By Lassen reproduced it and launched it on its 80th anniversary. Now it is also available in a beautiful black version as well. 

Cleaning and maintenance

Leather is a natural living material that requires maintenance and becomes even more beautiful if properly cared over time.

The changes and stretch in the leather, should be expected and is not seen as a product fault.

Take care not to place the leather in direct sunlight and extreme heat. Avoid the use of any cleaning agents and do not use sharp objects on the leather.
