In 1942, Mogens Lassen created the Stool ML42 specifically for a furniture exhibition hosted at the Danish Museum of Decorative Art.

Drawing inspiration from the stools used by shoemakers in bygone eras, Lassen ingeniously incorporated their delicate and graceful aesthetics into the design of this remarkable three-legged stool.

To this very day, the Stool ML42 continues to be meticulously manufactured in Denmark, emphasizing unparalleled quality and the timeless artistry of Danish craftsmanship. It has gained global recognition as a collector's piece among aficionados of international design.

Cleaning and maintenance

For the black variant, soap oak, oiled oak and dark oiled oak, please wipe with a moist cotton cloth.

The soap oak version variant can furthermore be treated with vegetable soap flakes.
