Mid- century outdoor lounge chair
The Fox lounge Chair was designed by the mid-century Danish architect Viggo Boesen.
The chair was created according to the designer’s philosophy. Furniture would have an organic flow and embrace the body smoothly and tenderly. It should be a delight to the eye, but also be solid and durable.
The chair won the Danish Wicker Maker Guild competition in 1936 and put Viggo Boesen among the designers of the “Danish golden age”
The chair is hand woven by Sika skilful artisans in synthetic rattan so that the chair can be left outside all year around. The rattan as well as the quick dry foam and outdoor fabric of the cushions are entirely weatherproof.
