History

The brand was founded in the 60’s by a group of passionate furniture makers and by early 1970’s, Gloster set up their own factory in Indonesia. The factory is situated next to a teak plantation that they manage themselves to ensure the quality of this exceptionally hard-wearing wood. Their teak is especially cut and processed to produce the world finest outdoor furniture. Every piece of their furniture is carved by skilful craftsmen using their hands to create every rounded corner and every joint. The result is exceptionally beautiful furniture that is made to last. Gloster use other materials like powder coated aluminium, ceramic and sling which are all from sustainable sources, ensuring the same high quality and attention to details in manufacturing.
