Gloster Fern Lounge Chair Dune | High Back

The Fern Low Back Lounge Chair in Dune is a part of the Fern Collection of outdoor furniture that is designed by Sebastian Herkner for Gloster.

It is inspired by the delicate fronds of unfurling fern leaves. The design harks back to nature, with a language that brings the beauty of the great outdoors into the comfort of your own home.

The furniture pieces combine plantation teak with a soft finish outdoor rope to create an enveloping, woven backrest that provide support and comfort. The backrest is attached to a typically Scandinavian-style teak frame that mirrors its contours and reinforces the comfort aspect.

The chair is crafted by hand from the finest teak, sourced from Gloster’s own plantation in Indonesia. The teak frames are expertly carved and combined with weather-resistant rope, woven by skilled artisans, to create a unique and durable design.

It is then finished with high quality seat cushion, sown at the Gloster factory with attention to detail. The cushions are filled with quick-dry foam to allow them to dry fast after the rain. They are covered with durable, easy-to-maintain outdoor fabric.
